Looking after our world

“Be part of the solution, not part of the pollution.” – Unknown

We only have one planet and we all share it. The environmental impact that we have on our planet as consumers and businesses can have a detrimental effect, that's why we are making a conscious effort wherever we can to be more green and environmentally friendly.

We are still working on converting some of our products to be more environmentally friendly products but here are a few 'green' products that we are using to help our environment.

Bamboo Pot.jpg

Bamboo pots

We are unable to use the coir pots for our slightly larger plants so instead, we’re using bamboo pots which are made from 100% natural bamboo fibres.

These pots are free from petroleum-based plastics and they are 100% biodegradable.

Traditional plastic pots take around 500 years to decompose whereas bamboo pots break down in active compost within 6 months.

Carrier Bags

We only use carrier bags that are made from recycled paper.

This means the bags can degrade in active soil in less than 6 months whereas traditional plastic bags take up to 1,000 years to degrade in a landfill.

Coco Coir Pots

Instead of using plastic pots, we use 100% natural and biodegradable coco coir pots.

Coir pots are made from the husk of a coconut and it’s a fibrous material that is found between the hard-inner shell of the coconut and the outer coating of it.

The coir pots that we use are ethically produced and sourced, making it an all-round environmentally friendly product.

Houseplant Soil

When you order a plant bundle from Grow My Wellbeing, you receive the right amount of soil components according to your size pot.

We have carefully created a healthy soil recipe formula to make sure your plants receive all of the healthy nutrients it needs to thrive.

In addition to this, there is no need to purchase large plastic bags of soil to plant your plants and potentially waste the excess soil that you don’t need.

All of our soil components are placed in recycled paper bags.
